As the daughter of my German father and my Philippino mother, who explored the world on a sailing yacht for several years, I started travelling before I was even able to walk or talk. My home was somewhere on the ocean, between a small island on the Philippines and the harbour city Kiel in Germany. Although we settled down in Kiel when I was about 9 years old, I guess it will always be in my DNA to keep moving. I love finding new places, getting to know the life and the spirit of people around the world, exploring nature and, of course, the oceans around us.

Some years ago, I developed a passion for photography which has become my form of diary for my adventures. On this website, I try to share my experiences without words and let the pictures speak their own, international language.
